Event Description: A six week entrepreneur development program aimed at giving middle and high school girls, the opportunity to start their own businesses. Girls develop a plan, learn basic business vocabulary, discuss and practice marketing, customer service, negotiation, sales, record keeping, networking, problem solving and ethical business practices. At the end of the program students will have a business plan, compete in a business plan competition for a chance to win seed money for their business. Once the program is completed girls wishing additional support will be assigned a professional mentor for continued growth and development of her business.
