On September 15, 2010 Anirban Basu, Chairman and CEO of Sage Policy Group, Inc., will be speaking at Abilities Network/ Epilepsy Foundation of the Chesapeake Region (EFCR) in Towson, MD about how the current economy will affect older adults who want to retire. This seminar is open to the public and there is no cost to register. The seminar is from 5:30PM – 7:30PM at Abilities Network’s headquarters in Towson, MD. Anirban Basu is one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s most recognizable economists, in part because of his consulting work on behalf of numerous clients, including prominent developers, bankers, brokerage houses, energy suppliers and law firms. On behalf of government agencies and non-profit organizations, Mr. Basu has written several high-profile economic development strategies. In 2007, Mr. Basu was selected by the Daily Record newspaper as one of Maryland’s 50 most influential people. The Baltimore Business Journal named him one of the region’s 20 most powerful business leaders in 2010. In recent years, he has focused upon health economics, the economics of education and economic development. The registration fee for companies is $160. You will be provided a six-foot table and seating for two representatives, signage for companies registered by the due date, advertising in local media, lunch and a continental breakfast.
